The Alaska written knowledge test is made up of 20 multiple-choice questions based on the 2024 Alaska Driver Manual. A significant portion of the questions will be regarding fines, regulations, and license restrictions. Of the 20 questions, you will need to answer at least 16 questions correctly to pass the test, so it is important to study all aspects of the driver’s manual. This DMV practice will consist of 50 questions specifically focused on licensing requirements, Alaska’s DUI policies, traffic violations, and scenarios for suspension or revocation of your license. These are some of the most difficult questions on the knowledge test, as you must know many exact numbers, and cannot guess based on guessing or simply common sense. In addition to your written test, you’ll need to take an eye exam, pay a $15 permit fee, or $20 license fee if you’re 16 or older, as well as provide proof of identity, residence, and parental consent if you’re a minor. This DMV permit and license practice test will help you prepare for the real test, as it contains questions very similar to those on the actual exam.
