    In Oregon you have to be 15 years old before you’re eligible to get a learner’s permit.

  • What documents do I need when I go to apply for my learner’s permit in Oregon?

    You will need to provide:
    • Proof of your full legal name
    • Proof of your legal US presence
    • Social Security Number
    • Proof of your address
    • Proof of school enrollment (if under 18)

    No, however, if you answer “yes” to any of the medical questions on the application you won’t have any driving privileges until you have established that your condition does not affect your ability to drive safely.
