Although you might plead, whine, and pout about getting pulled over for speeding or running a red light, it is easy to understand why traffic laws such as speed limits are put in place.

But hidden among the regular rules of the road are hundreds of bizarre traffic laws that have somehow worked their way into city ordinances, local legislation, and state constitutional amendments. Here are some of the best of the best (or should we say, worst of the worst?) traffic regulations from across the country.
