This MVD practice test for your Arizona written knowledge exam contains 50 multiple-choice questions that will focus on road signs and situations, each with an image and four optional answers. While the actual written test will be 30 multiple-choice questions based on a breadth of information from the 2024 Arizona Driver License Manual, this test will center on one portion of what you’ll need to study to prepare. As you can only afford to miss six questions, you must be able to answer questions regarding topics such as traffic signs and signals, safe driving and parking practices, rules regarding yielding and stopping, and more, all of which are covered on this permit practice test. The knowledge exam will be offered at your local MVD office, in a touchscreen computer station, unless you require special accommodations to take the test in another language or orally. Once you’ve passed your written test as well as a vision test, you’ll need to pay a $7 fee with your completed application to receive a learner’s permit. The $7 fee covers three attempts to pass your knowledge exam, but using this practice test will ensure that you’re prepared to answer questions regarding road signage and driving situations.
