Arkansas created its graduated license laws as a vital tool to make sure drivers are fully prepared for all driving situations. An important part of that is to be knowledgeable about road signs and situations. The written knowledge exam that you will be required to take to receive your license is based on the 2024 Arkansas Driver’s Manual and a large portion of the 25 questions will be on driving situations and your familiarity with common road signs. To pass your written exam, you’ll need to be able to answer at least 20 of the 25 multiple-choice questions correctly; this practice knowledge test can help you study and prepare, as it will cover questions on driving right of way, speed limits, legal parking, and safe driving laws. When you head to your local State Police location to take your test, don’t forget to bring your $5 test fee, $40 license fee, birth certificate, and for minors, parental consent, proof of a 2.0 GPA or higher, as well as a signed school attendance form.
