Welcome to our free Wyoming Fines and Limits permit practice test! This unique test has two purposes: To help you answer some of the toughest questions you may find on your Wyoming instruction permit test, and to help make you a safer driver by showing you some possible consequences of violating the traffic laws.
This practice test is up to date as of November 2024. It’s based on Wyoming’s official driver’s manual (Wyoming DOT Handbook (WY Driver's Manual) 2024) and the Wyoming Statutes.
The 50 questions and answers on this test are primarily concerned with various circumstances that can lead to your losing your Wyoming driving privileges, such as these:
If you are arrested for driving while under the influence (DWUI), how long will your license be suspended? When will the suspension go into effect? How will the court’s verdict affect the suspension? If you’re convicted of DWUI for the second time, how long will you lose your license? How about being convicted for a third time? If you’re found guilty of reckless driving, how long will your license be suspended? What are the minimum required coverages for vehicle liability insurance? If you’re convicted of driving an uninsured vehicle, how long will your license be suspended?
Like the other permit practice tests we offer, the free Wyoming Fines and Limits practice test comes with an automated assistant to help you answer the questions correctly. It can give you a hint if you’re having trouble with a question or an explanation of the correct answer if you answer the question incorrectly.

Most of the alcohol-impaired drivers had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.16% or higher. (The legal intoxication level is 0.08%.)
The traffic laws are there for everyone’s safety. If you want to keep a clean record as a Wyoming driver, this Fines and Limits Practice Test is just the thing. Good luck with your instruction permit test, and stay safe!
