- Perfect for learner’s permit, driver’s license, and Senior Refresher Test
- Based on official Oklahoma Driver's manual
- Triple-checked for accuracy
- Updated for June 2025
Oklahoma has implemented a Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) program for aspiring drivers under 18 that begins with a permit once certain conditions are met. These conditions include passing a vision screening and the official SOK knowledge (permit) test. To pass the test, you must answer at least 40 questions (80%) correctly. Updated for June 2025, our free online Oklahoma SOK Permit Practice Test is designed to help you pass the permit test by providing questions and answers that are based on the SOK 2025 Oklahoma Driver Handbook.
The Oklahoma permit test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions covering traffic laws, road signs and signals, safe driving practices, the effects of alcohol and drugs on driving, and violations and penalties. That’s a lot of material and exactly why our practice tests are designed to speed the learning process as you prepare for the official test. In Oklahoma, if you fail the test, you must pay the retest fee to retake the test. Our practice tests help ensure that doesn’t happen by providing instant feedback on each practice question and mimicking what you will face on the official Oklahoma written test.
The Oklahoma GDL program for applicants under 18 incrementally introduces driving privileges instead of full licensure at once and ends when a driver turns 18. You’ll transition from a learner permit (requiring supervised driving) to an intermediate restricted license (you may drive alone but with several restrictions). Finally, eligible drivers can receive an unrestricted license upon turning 18 if they meet all the requirements and pass the necessary tests. Adults over 18 can directly apply for a Class D license without GDL requirements and even without a learner’s permit (but they’ll still have to pass the vision screening and knowledge test).
Once you’re ready, go to the Oklahoma SOK with your proof of identity (birth certificate or passport), proof of your Social Security number, two proofs of Oklahoma residency, a certificate of required attendance from your school if you’re under 18, and proof of driver’s education course enrollment if you’re under 16. Submit the documents, pay the fee, pass the vision screening test, and pass the official permit test.
Preparing with our practice tests will help ensure you’ll be ready to meet driving challenges and pass the knowledge test. Check out our other free library of Oklahoma SOK permit practice tests!
